This custom Monopoly board was sent out as a holiday gift to Namebrand’s clients. My role is this project was creative direction and design. I started the process by outlining the board and re-writing the chance, community chest, and property cards. I knew that the theme of the game should relate back to Namebrand’s business but still wanted it to be fun to play, so the final concept allows each player to build their own product design business.

 As you play the game, you purchase products, which tie back to Namebrand’s core product categories. Once you purchase all the properties in a pattern group, you can build on them to expand your storage facilities. To fully immerse the players in this world, “Jail” was renamed to “Customs,” “Free Parking” was renamed “Free Delivery,” and the railroads were changed to different company departments – to name just a few of the ways the game was customized. As this was a team project, I facilitated multiple check-ins, reviewed the work, designed some of the collateral, as well as ensured all final artwork was ready for vendor submission.
