Fast Enterprises wanted to create a custom journal that would be handed out at their conference in Tuscon, Arizona. They wanted to feature an illustrated city skyline on the cover to give their users a gift that was usable and memorable.

My role was to create the illustration, so I started by finding some reference photos. I settled on two images that I combined, which created an intriguing composition. I used the client’s brand palette as a starting point and brought in different tints and shades to build depth. Even though they didn’t end up using this illustration in the final journal, I really love how it turned out.
